We have purchased leather from Maverick Leather Co., a couple of times now. Beautiful, quality leather for a great price. My husband is new to leather crafting and is very happy to have found Maverick Leather Co. We’ve experienced wonderful customer service with fast shipping as well!

Had a chance to drop in while visiting Bend from out of town. Employees were super nice and happy to help with anything. It's basically a warehouse of leather sides. They had a few things that weren't listed online. Even though most things were marked as seconds, it was all way better than most things I've had access to as a hobbyist. Not sure if I'll ever be able to stop in again, but I won't hesitate to get stuff shipped from them.

They were amazing. They were great in helping out our 4-H kids and supporting our club. Made special accommodations for us to shop on a Friday when they are normally closed. Thank you!

Above and beyond customer service. Had some questions about hides for a project so I called Erin and she walked me through all the details and really helped me come to the best decision. Really a refreshing customer service experience these days. Cannot recommend enough.

I have been buying hides through Maverick Leather for the last 4 or 5 years, and figured a review was long overdue! I can’t say enough good things about the company as a whole. From the quality of the leather, the promptness in customer support, and ease of getting my orders in and shipped, they are fantastic. Recently placed an order for a large order that had come in and needed the hides as soon as possible. Received a phone call a few hours later to upgrade the shipping, and they made sure to get it dropped off with the day’s orders so I’d have it as fast as possible. Appreciate y’all, and look forward to many more years of working with you!

Really friendly staff. Family run. Incredible selection of bulk leather from alligator to cow hides. Prices by the square footage...and reasonable. They have scrap bins for the hobbyist like me.

Is it possible to OD on leather? Everyone here is incredibly helpful, but when all that leather is staring in your face it's overwhelming. My wife told me not to buy anymore leather. Had to sneak this 1/2 hide into the house.

I've only shopped online but I live across the state so I'll take a field trip one of these days. They have stock of some hard to find leathers at a good price, they ship quickly and pack the products cleanly. In many cases the hides I have gotten are of a noticeably higher quality than the same name brand that I have found at other leather sellers. ( in other words it seems they have access to the higher quality lots!) Maverick is definitely a go-to supplier for me at this point. A+

Excellent customer service, great place to get leather online. Wouldn't even consider some of these hides as seconds. Accurate sizing, and you get exactly what you see, especially the Horween seconds.

I've purchased from a handful of distributers, but maverick can't be matched. Most importantly, their customer service is VERY good. My wife hase threatened to block the website on my computer because I can spend hours at a time salivating at the leather selection. Well done.

like a candy store for leather craft

I haven't been there in person yet but hope to make it in April. I have placed orders twice by phone and Andriana has been superb in handling my orders, selecting exactly what I want and getting it to me in a timely fashion. I've been doing leather craft in the Northwest since 1977 and Maverick Leather has become one of my favorite companies to do business with.

From tooling leather, to latigo, chromexel, high quality kangaroo, horween, hair on, embossed, and more I can find just about everything I need for all my leather project needs at Maverick. What's just as great as the variety of leather is the people who work at Maverick. They are always friendly and very helpful. I always leave with more than I came for.

I've gotten great service and fair pricing on all the leather I've gotten from them. They have everything from overstocks and seconds to some rougher grades as well. I highly recommend them.

Suffice it to say, if there is a leather heaven, I found it @maverickleather. (The sign on the door even says so...) These two snapshots by no means do the 7000 square foot space in Bend, OR justice, but this place is incredible, not only for the enormous selection of leathers but for the prices and the really nice folks who work there. They are among the most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. When you go, be prepared... I thought I might leave with one or two hides. Well that I did... And a few more. You might say several more - if several is more than a few!

Huge selection of products and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Hard to go wrong shopping here!
