Horween’s Latigo line is a full grain, veg retan leather. Characterized by a beautiful tight grain and made in a full range of color, finishes, weights and tempers. Many people think of Latigo as the original saddlery style leather. While Horween will produce it in matte or gloss finishes, heavy or soft tempers, it can also be produced in a full aniline, semi aniline, or pigment finishes, as well as naked, hand glazed or waxed. Just like many of Horween’s leathers, it works great for just about any leather working project from bags to shoes to wallets!

This full grain leather holds up well to the elements and resists hardening for generations.

We will refer to miscellaneous leathers as a “type” when we have no way of telling the exact tannage. Many times, we have created our own color names. New leathers are constantly being developed at the tannery, and we have no way of identifying the leather exactly. We do the best we can to identify type, color etc.

Orion Double Butts – Bone
