These hides have been tumbled/milled to soften the leather and break in the grain. Finished with a wax. Beautiful aniline dyed leather that will make nice bags, chaps and more.

Horween’s Essex line of Leather is a full grain, full veg tanned leather. Due to the high blend of oils and waxes in the tanning process the Essex tends to be very supple and softer tempered. Just like many of Horween’s leathers, it works great for just about any leather working project from bags to shoes to wallets!
