This premium rivet and burr setter, often referred to as a farmer’s rivet setter, is crafted from forged steel with a hardened end, polished face, and a black finish.
It’s designed specifically for Osborne No. 9 Copper Rivets, with the rivet setter size corresponding to the rivet size.
While any hammer can be used, a wooden or rawhide mallet is recommended for best results.
For trimming excess rivet length, diagonal nippers or pincers are ideal tools.
