Cypress is a vegetable re-tanned (combination tanned) leather that has been nourished with oils and waxes in the tanning process. The hides are ironed on a heat roller to provide the leather with a smooth grain, rich depths of color and pull-up. Limited stock – Made in the USA.
Second-run leathers; may have defects ranging from: dye-lot/color variation, brands, holes, loose break, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides. These should not be referenced to identify any leathers not sold here at Maverick.
