Latigo is a full grain, veg retan leather with a strong, tight grain. Most think of latigo as a heavy saddlery style leather, while Horween makes it in a full range of color, finishes, weights and tempers. Limited stock – second run. Made in the USA.
Second-run leathers; may have defects ranging from: dye-lot/color variation, brands, holes, loose break, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides. These should not be referenced to identify any leathers not sold here at Maverick.
