These are second run hides which means some hides may have issues ranging from a color defect/variation to brands, holes, scarring, loose break, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides, and these should not be referenced to identify any leathers not sold here at Maverick.
Sienna Hot is a full veg tanned leather with a beautiful waxed, bright burnished grain. The polished look gives the leather a classy and glass like finish while enhancing the hides natural tones. Vermont is a vegetable tannage from Horween that displays a supple temper and feel. Great for bags, jackets and many other custom leather projects of your choosing. 2nd Run – hides may have defects like brands, healed scars, holes, loose break, tannery cuts, etc.
