Shrunken calf leather, also known as ‘shrunken grain,’ undergoes a specific tanning and finishing process in which the end result is a leather with a distinctive textured appearance. The process involves shrinking leather grain to create a unique pattern of wrinkles and creases.
These are a tumbled version of the Veg tanned English calf (Kips) with an aniline dye. The natural glazed grain on these hides give them a luxurious look and feel. As these are tumbled the temper will be softer, and more supple than the non-tumbled version. Limited Stock.
