Aniline, full grain calf skins with a slight pebble grain and pull up. Also available in Winter Smoke. Some hides may have issues ranging from a color defect/variation to brands, holes, scarring, loose break, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, etc. While still considered seconds, these hides have been high sorted and have minimal defects.
Horween’s Mystic line is very similar to the Essex tannage. It is a veg – tanned leather with a top wax. Although it is a veg tan, it has a very similar feel to that of the Cavalier leathers.
