Derby – English Tan

Derby is a milled version of Dublin from Horween Leather. The milling or tumbling process breaks in the hides. Softening the temper and enhancing the grain appearance.

The Essex, Dublin and Derby are tanned using Horween’s 100 year old “Cordovan Veg Tan” liquor formula. Essex hides are infused with wax and ironed to create Dublin – a full bodied leather with a shiny yet rugged wax finish. The added wax also creates a pull-up effect and a bit more rigidity to the hides.

Just like many of Horween’s leathers, it works great for just about any leather project. Limited Stock. Made in USA.
