Horween Mystery Sides – What will you get?

These are individual sides that do not fall into a traditional tannage or color range we are used to seeing from Horween. Some may be full grain while others may be embossed. Unique second run sides ranging in tannage and color.

These sides will not be mis-split:

2/4 oz will either be 2/3oz or 3/4oz.

4/6oz will either be 4/5oz or 5/6oz

As we empty and sort pallets (which are miscellaneous and unmarked), we are constantly grabbing Horween swatches to identify colors and tannages to the best of our knowledge. These sides may have been samples produced, off-color runs or just something they were trying out. While being seconds these do have some minor issues ranging from hides may have defects like brands, healed scars, holes, loose break, tannery cuts, etc. Variations are due to the fact that leather is a natural product with unique characteristics that can differ from hide to hide.
