Outrigger Type – Volcano Brown

Horween’s Outrigger tannage is a buffed grain leather with a lightly waxed finish. This provides the hides with a rustic look that will patina nicely with use. Dry milled to soften the leather and give it a broken in feel. Drum dyed a beautiful light brown color. Limited Stock. Made in USA.

We will refer to Horween Leathers as a “type” when we have no way of telling the exact tannage. Many times, we have created our own color names. New leathers are constantly being developed at the tannery, and we have no way of identifying the leather exactly. We do the best we can to identify type, color etc.

2nd Run – hides may have defects like brands, healed scars, holes, loose break, tannery cuts, etc.
