Our Tumbled Horween Russet Veg Tanned Horsebutt Narrows have been gently tumbled in our dry mill, giving the strips the perfect balance of flexibility and durability. This process softens the leather, making it easier to work with and ideal for applications where a long break-in period might be a challenge. For a firmer non-tumbled option click here.
Average length: 40″-48″ from flank to flank; average width: 4″-6″ at narrowest and 6″-8″ in the widest center section.

I’ve used the horsebutt strips for years, but I really enjoyed the tumbled option. The broke in feel is fantastic for belts, dog collars and tote/bag straps. Will absolutely order more when they come back in stock!
