Utica Type – Black Lagoon

Glovey/soft tempered leather with a naked grain, giving the sides a very natural look and feel. Great for bags, and other custom leather goods.

We will refer to Horween Leathers as a “type” when we have no way of telling the exact tannage. Many times, we have created our own color names. New leathers are constantly being developed at the tannery, and we have no way of identifying the leather exactly. We do the best we can to identify type, color etc.

2nd Run – hides may have defects like brands, healed scars, holes, loose break, tannery cuts, etc.
