Roughout leather is designed for the use of the flesh side of the hide. Great for footwear and outdoor goods. Made in USA. Hides may have defects like range marks, brands, healed scars, tannery cuts, etc.
These are second run hides which means some hides may have issues ranging from a color defect/variation to brands, holes, scarring, loose break, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, etc. While still considered seconds, these hides have been high sorted and have minimal defects.
Full grain oil tan leather with a pigmented finish. Medium/firm temper. Great for boots, notebook covers and other small goods. Made in USA. 2nd Run – hides may have defects like brands, healed scars, holes, loose break, tannery cuts, etc.
