Black Hawk Latigo – Black

Horween’s Latigo line is a full grain, combination tanned leather with a chrome tan base and heavy veg re-tan that is often characterized by a beautiful tight grain. While Horween will produce it in matte or gloss finishes, heavy or soft tempers, it can also be produced in a full aniline, semi aniline, or pigment finishes, as well as naked, hand glazed or waxed. The Blackhawk is very similar to the Illini Latigo, but has a smoother grain.

These are second run hides which means some hides may have issues ranging from (but not limited to) a color defect/variation, brands, holes, scarring, loose break, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides, and these should not be referenced to identify any leathers not sold here at Maverick.
