Cavalier Box Board Print – Ink
Cavalier is a variation of the Chromexcel® leather that is slightly less oily. Cavalier hides are typically dyed in brighter tones and will display a vibrant pull-up for most colors. Embossed with a Box Board print as shown.
Second run hides; some may have defects ranging from: incorrect color, holes, loose break, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides. These should not be referenced to identify any leathers not sold here at Maverick.
