Rio is a classic latigo color from Horween; a tan, butterscotch tone.
Latigo is a full grain, veg retan leather with a strong, tight grain. Most think of latigo as a heavy saddlery style leather, while Horween makes it in a full range of color, finishes, weights and tempers. Limited stock – second run. Made in the USA.
2nd Run – some hides may have defects like brands, holes, scarring, loose break, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides, which should only be referenced to identify leathers sold here at Maverick.
This leather is beautiful! The pictures don’t really do it justice. You won’t be disappointed. This is great for bags, wallets, belt liners and a lot of other projects.
