Description
Toasted Coconut Aniline Latigo – aniline dyed and finished with a wax, giving the leather pull-up and a luxurious feel. The waxed grain can heal light scratches and scuffs when softly burnished. Limited stock – Horween Second Run. Made in the USA.
Latigo is a full grain vegetable retan leather with a strong, tight feel – the heavy veg retan process provides the hides with a strong, yet balanced temper and touch. Latigo is traditionally a heavyweight saddlery leather – Horween’s Latigo is produced in a range of colors, styles and finishes. Limited stock – Horween Second Run. Made in the USA.
These are second run hides which means some hides may have issues ranging from a color defect/variation to brands, holes, scarring, loose break, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, etc. Many times, we have also created our own color names for these hides, and these should not be referenced to identify any leathers not sold here at Maverick.

I’ve always liked Horween Chromexcel, but man, I’m really into this Latigo leather. It’s got that perfect mix of firmness and softness. The aniline dye gives it such a nice color too. I think this one’s gonna be my go-to leather from now on.
