Newport is a drum dyed, veg tan leather with a great look, feel and smell. Tanned using traditional vegetable tanning methods which can take up to 40 days to produce a hide. Dyed through Navy in color.
Tight, firm and flexible with embossing retention properties that can be refined in many ways in order to adapt to different uses. These can be varied from small leather goods, belts, handbags, upholstery and equestrian equipment.

The Sepici Brand has been making leather since the 1930’s. All of the colors are excellent and the flesh side is finished. That’s a really big deal for me when making my bags. I was really tired of getting leather shipped to me that I had to Tokonole or line the leather. The people at Maverick are real pros.
