Horween Russet Veg Horsebutt Horsehide Strips are tanned using a slow process to create a firm, dense leather that is ideal for wet molding and stamping. Great for sheaths, holsters, bags straps, razor strops, welts and belts (when long enough). For a softer, tumbled option click here.
Narrow Strips -Average length: 40″-48″ from flank to flank; average width: 4″-6″ at narrowest and 6″-8″ in the widest center section.
Wide Strips -Average length: 40″-48″ from flank to flank; average width: 6″-8″ at narrowest and 8″-12″ in the widest center section.
